Type: Digital amplification
The United Nations Population Fund, UNFPA commissioned a digital marketing effort as part of its media campaign to recognize and celebrate the International Day of Peace on September 21, 2020.
The Pulse Senegal team immediately rolled out a number of activities to drive the campaign and send out the client’s message clearly. The 2020 theme is Shaping Peace Together. This theme resonated uniquely and was a unique opportunity to promote initiatives for peace in the region. The Pulse team was responsible for digital marketing management, which included the design and deployment of digital content on the client’s social platforms. Other goals for the campaign included the launch and signing of the ‘Peace in the Sahel’ petition and increased awareness about the International Day of Peace in the region.
The digital campaign was deployed and recorded satisfactory results. More than 700 people signed the ‘Peace in the Sahel’ petition, and across social platforms, the #paixausahel and #PutYoungPeopleFirst hashtags received a total of over 607,000 impressions and reached more than 104,000 accounts.
