Beyond her personal success, she plays a key role in shaping Pulse Nigeria’s TikTok presence, contributing to major wins like Media Publisher of the Year at the 2023 TikTok SSA Awards.
In this interview, she shares her reaction to the big win, her journey as a creator, and what’s next for AnChi Vibes.

I was beyond honoured to win two international awards in one night at the TikTok Awards Sub-Saharan Africa 2024! I took home the biggest award of the night—Creator of the Year—and also earned the Runner-Up spot for Entertainment Culture Creator of the Year. It was an incredibly humbling experience to be recognised alongside so many talented creators from the region. These awards are a true reflection of all the hard work, dedication, and creativity I’ve poured into my content.
When I heard my name, I was absolutely shocked—my jaw literally dropped! I was like, “Is this really happening?!” The moment felt so surreal, but all I could think about was how incredibly thankful I am for everyone who has supported me along the way. It was truly a dream come true.
My niche falls under entertainment, which is why I was nominated for the Entertainment Culture Creator of the Year award. I share the latest scoop on films and series, along with entertainment trends, keeping us all entertained and glued to our FYP.
I opened TikTok during the COVID lockdown, just having fun on the app—hopping on trends and trying out different content. I was also very good with slowmo, and that was what blew my page up. But I think I really decided to stick to the entertainment niche in 2023 and take it seriously. That’s when things really started to click, and I focused on creating content that resonated with my audience.
My best source of inspiration comes from God and everything around me—whether it’s the latest entertainment trends, the films and series I’m watching, or even the conversations I have with my friends and followers. I’m always paying attention to what’s trending, what people are talking about, and how I can bring a fresh take to it all. I love to stay connected to what’s happening in pop culture and find creative ways to share that with my audience.
I’ve had a couple of videos that went viral. I loved the way I created them and the reactions from the audience, but I can’t really say a particular one right now.
I have never been drunk. I’m also a shy person sometimes, lol.

I have some exciting projects lined up, including my WatchToWatch with AnChi series. I’m working on collaborating with creators and brands, and there are a few surprises in store that I think my followers will really love!
As the Senior Social Media Manager (TikTok) at Pulse Nigeria, my role has been crucial in shaping my content. Being deeply involved in the entertainment industry keeps me updated on trends that my audience loves. Since joining Pulse over two years ago, my dedication has contributed to our success, including winning the Media Publisher of the Year award at the TikTok Sub-Saharan Africa Awards in 2023.
I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family and friends for their unwavering support. A special shoutout to Kelvin Elamah for his invaluable advice and encouragement, my ever-supportive teammates, and everyone who has been part of this journey. Thank you, and may God bless you all.
