Pulse Welcomes James Torvaney (back) as Chief Operating Officer to Drive Strategic Media Growth

Pulse is realigning its media operations and is pleased to welcome James Torvaney (ACA) to drive growth across its media verticals. James’s role will include brand leadership, revenue generation, and spearheading innovation initiatives with a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the company’s media arm.

James is a sports, media, and entertainment consultant with over eight years’ experience in Africa’s fast-growing sports industry. He was previously the Managing Director at Pulse Sports, where he led the platform to become Africa’s most-visited sports website, launched hit digital formats such as Crossfire, and built a following of over 6 million across platforms. He also authors Africa’s Sports Insider, a leading newsletter on the continent’s sports business, and has worked with global brands such as Nike, NBA, Red Bull, La Liga, and Safaricom.
